How do I check my transmission fluid?- If you can check the fluid from under the hood, the transmission dip stick usually is red. Many transmissions today have to be checked from under the vehicle. In this case we are always happy to check it for you at no charge.
- How do I know if I have a transmission problem?
- Most vehicles on the road today are computer controlled. Many will let you know through a check engine light or the overdrive light will flash. We have found, if you, the driver of your car, thinks something is different you are right and it should be checked. With all of the electronics in transmissions it may not be serious unless you ignore it, then it could become serious.
How much?- Transmissions today are very complex. With computer controls, solenoids and so many unknown factors it is impossible to give an accurate answer to that question without an inspection.
